November 26, 1931 – December 7, 2023
Jeannine (née: Raasch) Bach, 92, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023. Jeannine was born to Eleanore (née: Bradl) and Clarence Raasch of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was married to James Jensen for 18 years and to Don Bach for 48 years until Don passed away in 2021.
Jeannine graduated from Juneau High School where she made lifelong friends. She went on to work for the Milwaukee Public School System as a school secretary for 30 years, primarily at the Byron Kilbourn School until her retirement at age 55. Jeannine enjoyed reading, needlework, traveling with Don to Northern Wisconsin and the Southwestern U.S., baking for her grandchildren, playing cards with friends, and spending time with family. Jeannine also loved dancing – she first met Don when he asked her to dance to Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline”. Jeannine and Don were often the stars of the dance floor, especially while dancing the foxtrot.
Jeannine was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her son, Daryl Jensen and his wife, Patricia Rutkowski; stepson, Gary Bach; stepdaughter, Karen Rae and her husband, Randy; granddaughters, Julia Jensen and her husband, Benedict Fritz, Lauren Jensen, and Alexandra Reimer and her husband, David; grandson, Jonathan Bach and his wife, Maddy; great-grandsons, Luka Fritz, Nelson Bach, and Noah Bach; and great-granddaughter, Hayden Reimer.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Don, and her stepdaughter-in-law, Nancy Bach.
Funeral services will be held at Harder Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2023, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest at the Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery in Brookfield, WI.
