Greg Borowski

Greg Borowski is executive editor of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and is editor of PolitiFact Wisconsin, which began in 2010. He also oversees the Green Bay Press-Gazette and Appleton Post-Crescent. A Marquette University graduate, Greg began his career in Marion, Ind., where he covered business before moving to Lansing, Mich., where he covered state government. In 1998, he returned to his hometown and spent 10 years covering city government and politics. In 2009, he was named watchdog team editor. In that role, he oversaw projects that won virtually every major national award, including the Pulitzer Prize. He later oversaw the news operations for the Journal Sentinel and 10 other Gannett properties in Wisconsin. He is the author of three books, including a nonfiction account of a groundbreaking high school football team.
