Holiday dining celebrates both old and new traditions as family and friends gather at the table. Here are some Milwaukee-area restaurants offering special Christmas meals for dine-in, or to bring home for the holidays. Advance reservations and pre-orders are required at most restaurants.

Aria

This restaurant is offering a special prix fixe menu featuring garlic and herb-crusted prime rib, pork tamales, honey-glazed heirloom carrots, chocolate silk pie and more, from 2 to 9 p.m. Dec. 24 and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 25. Open noon to 7 p.m. Christmas Day for dine-in and take out. Traditional Christmas entrees include: ham steak with pineapple ($27), one half Muscovy duckling with applesauce ($29), and broasted chicken with cranberry sauce ($27). Steaks, chops and seafood entrees range in price from $29 to $68.
