ACX Entertainment Center, including movie theater, officially open at Bayshore in Glendale

More than three months after it began a soft opening, the ACX Entertainment Center at Bayshore in Glendale is officially open.

The center, built into the former iPic Entertainment space in Bayshore's rotunda at 5750 N. Bayshore Drive, includes the six-screen ACX Cinema, an 11-lane bowling alley, an arcade center with 40 games, and Backlot Pizza + Kitchen, a Detroit-style pizza restaurant with a full-service bar adjacent to the movie theater.

The ACX theater is the first new movie theater to open in the Milwaukee area since the Silverspot Cinema opened at The Corners of Brookfield in 2019. The iPic theater opened at Bayshore in 2007 and closed in 2018.

Omaha, Nebraska-based ACX Cinemas announced plans to open in Bayshore in the fall of 2022.
