Undefeated Marquette women's basketball team makes season debut in Associated Press top 25 rankings

Marquette has two basketball teams in the top 25.
The men's team has been in the top five all season, but the women's team just landed at No. 23 in the Associated Press rankings that were released Monday.
The Golden Eagles (6-0) are coming off two victories to claim the title at the Fort Myers Tip-Off tournament.
MU beat Boston College, 73-65, on Friday behind 25 points from Kenzie Hare. In the championship game, the Golden Eagles beat Arkansas, 74-58.
Rose Nkumu was named the tournament's most valuable player after averaging 12.5 points, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals over the two games.
MU plays Memphis at the Al McGuire Center on Wednesday.
