Do you have amazing holiday lights and decorations? Get them featured on our map of displays.
You can see it coming. The drugstores are swapping out the Halloween treats and products for festive items. Your neighbors are hanging up lights and winter-themed decorations. Holiday music is slowly creeping into your radio.
The holidays are here, and whether you're a wait until December purist or a year-round enthusiast, the Milwaukee area is sure to light up again this year.
Every year, Milwaukeeans drive around in search of the best light displays the city area has to offer. People go all out, so we want to help people find what they're looking for.
For the 2023 holidays, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is introducing a map of the best holiday light displays in the area. To do this, we need your help. We'll have our eyes out as we bring you the reporting you love, but residents and businesses can submit their own light displays to be included on a map we'll release later this month.
To put your house or business on the map, fill out the form below.
The map will be published on jsonline.com on Nov. 22, just in time for Thanksgiving weekend.
There is no cost to participate.
"For many families, mine included, it's a tradition to drive around and see the holiday lights," said Greg Borowski, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel executive editor. "We hope readers will share their displays, and that our map will help others find displays that they want to see." Visit https://bit.ly/jsholidaylightsmap for more details.
