New permanent, seasonal beer garden coming to Milwaukee's Juneau Park
Milwaukee County Parks is bringing a seasonal beer garden to Juneau Park, 900 N. Prospect Ave., which has been a popular stop on the county's traveling beer garden route.
Juneau Beer Garden will join the county park system's lineup of other permanent beer gardens at South Shore, Whitnall, and Humboldt parks.
Beer will be served out of a beer tap trailer featuring 12 tap lines with offerings from Lakefront, Eagle Park, Raised Grain, Sprecher, Third Space and New Glarus.
Juneau Beer Garden will also have rotating food trucks on Friday nights and Saturdays, and live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be seating for about 250 people.
"Parks could not be happier to add another beer garden to our wonderful summer in Milwaukee. Due to the popularity of Juneau as a Traveling Beer Garden stop and the engaging community around it, we are excited to offer another location for folks to enjoy this summer," Parks Executive Director Guy Smith said in a news release.
The new beer garden will have a keg tapping and grand opening ceremony at 4 p.m. May 24.
Its regular hours will be 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and holidays, through Aug. 20.
