Leinenkugel's 'Canoebicle' (canoe meets cubicle) can be rented on the Milwaukee River

Working from home is so last year ... and the year before that and the year before that. Enter: Working from water.

Leinenkugel's will soon be launching the "Canoebicle," a rentable canoe meets cubicle, on the Milwaukee River, according to a release from the brewer.

The setup features onboard WiFi, a desk, water-tight storage for work materials, waterproof speakers, a "Shandy shade" to keep the sun out of your eyes and off your monitor, and an ergonomic seat, Leinenkugel’s website said.

And, Wisconsin won't be the only place where the Canoebicle will be making a splash. Denver and Pittsburgh will have them too.

The Canoebicle costs $16 per session to rent in honor of how many years Leinie's Summer Shandy has been around, per the website.

People can start booking the Canoebicle at noon CT July 3 at leinie.com/canoebicle. Participants must be at least 21 years old.

Following the session, people will receive a Summer Shandy six-pack or pre-paid card (depending on location/availability) for their "post-work happy hour."

If people want to live more of that work-from-water life, they can enter for a chance to win the Canoebicle, plus Summer Shandy (awarded as a pre-paid card). People can enter the sweepstakes from noon CT July 3 through 11:59 p.m. CT July 28 at leinie.com/canoebicle.

Leinenkugel's, which was founded in Chippewa Falls in 1867, is the nation's seventh-oldest operating brewery. Its brands are part of Tenth and Blake, which is the Molson Coors U.S. craft beer division.

In addition to its Chippewa Falls brewery, Leinenkugel's also operates a brewery in Milwaukee.
