Radio veteran Sandy Maxx is hosting a new nightly show on WTMJ-AM (620) in Milwaukee
Less than a year after she joined WTMJ-AM (620), Sandy Maxx has her third new gig at the Milwaukee radio station: She's hosting a new show, airing weeknights at 6 p.m. starting Nov. 2.
Maxx wrote on the station's website Thursday that the hourlong "What's on Tap?" will feature "culture and creativity in Wisconsin and around the world."
The show will be pre-empted when there are conflicts with Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers games.
Maxx began her tenure on Milwaukee radio in 2001, when she joined WKLH-FM (96.5) as on-air talent. After six years at WMYX-FM (99.1) and some time on WIIL-FM in Kenosha, she returned to WKLH in 2014, where she worked until 2022.
She joined WTMJ in December 2022 as co-anchor of the station's afternoon drive-time show. In July, Maxx was named co-host of the Good Karma-owned station's "WTMJ Now" late-morning show with Steve Scaffidi.
