Milwaukee could be named one of Eater’s top dining destinations. It just needs your vote.
We don’t need a national food publication’s recognition to validate Milwaukee’s stellar dining scene, but a little extra coverage wouldn’t hurt, right?
Milwaukee is currently in hot competition to be highlighted as the best food city in the United States by popular food and dining site Eater.
Each year, the site creates a curated guide of the best dining destinations in select cities across the world, covering the restaurants, distinct local cuisine, chefs and culture that make the city worth traveling to.
Typically, the United States is represented by just one city on the list.
And Milwaukee could be the one. It just needs your help to get there.
The site is finalizing its “Where to Eat in 2024” travel list, but it's leaving one spot open for the winner of a popular vote. Four U.S. cities are in contention for that coveted spot: Kansas City, Missouri; Louisville, Kentucky; Salt Lake City; and, yes, Milwaukee.
Voting is open now on Eater.com. Only one vote per IP address counts, so spread the word and share the link with friends and family.
The site notes the drummed-up excitement for Milwaukee’s restaurant scene ahead of its host spotlight on “Top Chef's" Season 21 next year. It also namechecks Lupi & Iris chef Adam Siegel and the evolution of the food at La Dama and Palomino as highlights of the culinary scene.
This isn’t the first time the website has recognized Milwaukee’s dining scene. Eater included Milwaukee on its 2020 list of best food cities to travel to just two months, before, well … nobody was traveling anywhere, especially not to dine out.
This is another chance to show the world what we’ve got. Head to Eater and vote now.
