Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books
The Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books returns Nov. 3-4 to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha, 1500 N. University Drive, Waukesha, with author talks, panel discussions, performances and more. Highlights include filmmaker and Shorewood native David Zucker talking about his new book "Surely You Can’t Be Serious: The True Story of Airplane!," co-written with Jim Abrahams and Jerry Zucker, at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 (advance registration is required); and former Journal Sentinel reporter Meg Kissinger talking about her family mental health memoir "While You Were Out" at 12:15 p.m. Nov. 4. Autumn Artisan's Fair at Nicolet High School

Last weekend for 'Earth: The Art of Nature' at Mitchell Park Domes
The Mitchell Park Domes' fall show "Earth: The Art of Nature" concludes its run Nov. 5 at the Domes, 524 S. Layton Blvd. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 3, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 4-5. Admission is $9 ($8 for Milwaukee County residents); $6 for kid ages 3 to 12, Milwaukee County seniors 60 and older, students and people with disabilities; free for children younger than 3. Family Free Day at Milwaukee County Zoo
Admission is free Nov. 4 at the Milwaukee County Zoo for its monthly Family Free Day. (Parking will still cost you $15.) The zoo, 10001 W. Blue Mound Road, is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Info: milwaukeezoo.org.
