Tap In Golf Bar, with indoor golf simulators, is set to open its Waukesha location Dec. 21
A second location of Tap In Golf Bar is set to open and have its grand opening from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21. This location will be in Waukesha.
Lori Flora, who owns the business with her husband Bret and her two business partners, Jill and Travis Kennicker, said the plan is to have live music in the evening.
Tap In Golf Bar is a sports bar with indoor golf simulators. The simulated courses are designed to mimic real-world situations to cater to all skill levels and preferences.
Tap In Golf Bar in Waukesha is at 2132 Silvernail Road, in the same shopping plaza as Metro Market and Dollar Tree. Tap In's first location opened in January 2022 at N65 W24838 Main St. in Sussex.
Sign-up for indoor league play has already opened; the 12-week league is set to begin Jan. 8 at both locations.
Flora said the new location was totally "gutted" to create the new place and the inside looks "very nice."
The new location is 6,500 square feet. That's a bit larger than the Sussex location, which is around 5,000 square feet.
Flora said there are slated to be eight simulators. They will have wider screens than those at the Sussex location, which has six simulators.
At the Waukesha location, there will be about 10 televisions throughout the bar. A menu will feature items such as pizza, fried pickles and chicken tenders.
The hours for the Waukesha location are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
