Here's where you can find winter farmers markets in Milwaukee and the suburbs
While the summer farmers market season is ending, there are plenty of winter farmers markets in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Germantown, Menomonee Falls and Port Washington to enjoy. Some have similar vendors as the summer, while others have new ones.
Common items at the winter markets are soap, honey, bread, eggs, beaded jewelry and jewelry of other kinds, as well as homemade gift items.
Here's where you can find winter farmers markets in and around Milwaukee:
Milwaukee Winter Farmers Market on Capitol Drive
Kinds of vendors: Local vendors include That Salsa Lady’s gourmet salsa and chips, Olympia Granola, Pasta By Val and the Pea Pod Farm. About 40 to 45 vendors are scheduled to attend each market on a rotating basis.
When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 through April 13 (including Nov. 25, Dec. 23 and Dec. 30)
Where: The Table (former location of Capitol Drive Lutheran Church), 5305 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee

Jackson Park Farmers Market in Milwaukee
Kinds of vendors: At this one-time event, there will be bakery items, popcorn, BeerBQ, honey, micro-greens, coffee, tea, soaps, fresh meats, eggs and jewelry
When: 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 17
Where: Jackson Park, 3500 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee (Inside the Jackson Park boat house, located on the KK River Parkway between West Forest Home Avenue and South 43rd Street)

The Menomonee Falls Village Market at Menomonee Falls North Middle School
Kinds of vendors: There will be approximately 25 food vendors and five artisan vendors at each market offering locally-grown and produced goods. While market officials are still finalizing this season's vendor list, past items have included handmade jewelry, artisan bread, honey products, scones, muffins, syrup and eggs. At every market, there will be an educational activity for children and adults.
When: The markets will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on select Saturdays. The schedule for 2024 is Jan. 20, Feb. 3, Feb. 17, March 2, March 16, April 6 and April 20.

Waukesha Winter Farmers Market at Martha Merrell's Books and at Plowshare Fair Market Trade Marketplace
Kinds of vendors: Organic produce, baked goods, soaps, coffee, and pottery from local vendors including Fix Soap Company, Blackberry Hill Farm Produce and Honey Bee Artisans.
When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday from Nov. 4 to March 30
Where: Waukesha Winter Farmers Market is at two places in Downtown Waukesha this year; people can walk to both. Martha Merrell’s Books, 231 W. Main St., and Plowshare Fair Trade Marketplace, 219 W. Main St.

Chef Pam's Winter Farmers Market in Waukesha
Kinds of vendors: Plant-based cookies from Vegan Baker’s Man, alcohol-infused ice cream from Crème de Liqueur, Buzzy Bees Honey, Sunrise Acai Bowls, Pop's Kettle Corn and 25 more local artisans. For the first time, the market will sell homemade soup.
When: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., first and third Saturday of each month from Nov. 4 to April 20.

Winter Market with Live Reindeer at Wendland Nursery in Germantown
Kinds of vendors: Local artists, crafters, coffee, hot cocoa and photos with reindeer.
When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 (a photo line can begin at 10:30 a.m.)
Where: Wendland Nursery, W172 N10415 Division Road, Germantown. This event is outside and is weather permitting.

Port Washington Winter Market at Inventors Brewpub
Kinds of vendors: Rotating vendors include Winterspring Organic Farm, Seven Hills Honey, Valley Girl Farm CBD Products and Karl’s Copper Art.
When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., two Saturdays each month from Nov. 4 until April 20
