Beer vendors at Lambeau Field in Green Bay voted Dec. 3 to unionize.

GREEN BAY - Lambeau Field beer vendors voted overwhelmingly Sunday in favor of forming a union in an election conducted by the National Labor Relations Board.

Their union will be a part of the Milwaukee Area Service and Hospitality Workers' Union (MASH), which also represents workers at Fiserv Forum and the Pabst Theater. The beer vendors' employer is Delaware North, which has been Lambeau Field's food and beverage partner since 2012.

The election was conducted Sunday in the hours leading up to the Packers-Chiefs game. Two months ago, 70% had signed union authorization cards. MASH president Peter Rickman said 87% of the beer vendors voted in favor of unionizing.

The vendors, 75 in all, started organizing "in order to secure the voice and seat at the table that comes with the balancing of power between the boss and workers possible only through unionization," Rickman said. The next step is for the Lambeau workers to negotiate their first contract.

In order to resolve labor disputes in the run-up leading to the 2025 NFL draft, MASH has called for a "community benefits agreement" similar to an arrangement the Milwaukee Bucks had negotiated with Fiserv Forum and Deer District workers in 2016.
