WIsconsin Badgers get a commitment from cornerback from Alabama

MADISON – Jay Harper recently visited three college campuses:

Mississippi State the first week of this month, Wisconsin from June 9 through 11, and Louisville last weekend.

The best fit for the 6-foot, 180-pound cornerback from Alabama?

Madison.

Harper announced Monday he has committed to UW for the 2024 class.

In addition to UW, Louisville and Mississippi State, Harper reported offers from West Virginia, Memphis, Georgia Tech and several other schools.

He is the eighth player to announce a commitment to UW since the staff began hosting official visits this month.

UW’s class stands at 16 known commitments.
