MADISON – Luke Fickell and his staff have landed their first running back for the 2024 class.
Gideon Ituka, a 5-foot-9, 220-pound rising senior from Maryland, announced Saturday he has committed to Wisconsin.
Ituka, who rushed 152 times for 1,106 yards (7.3 yards per carry) and 16 touchdowns as a junior, is the 15th player to announce his commitment to UW for the class.
He was initially offered by Paul Chryst’s staff in May of 2022, took an unofficial visit to meet the new staff in April and took his official visit to UW earlier this month.
Ituka held offers from Boston College, Maryland, Tennessee, Syracuse, Temple and several other schools.
