Politicians OK'd stadium funding we didn't want. No wonder people don't vote. | Letters
Is there a better example as to why people don’t vote than the recent financial aid package for the Milwaukee Brewers (“$546M funding for Brewers stadium wins Assembly OK,” Oct. 19)? Nevermind that polling shows Wisconsinites — aka: the adults in the room — overwhelmingly want our tax dollars spent on the true needs of the Badger state. But a Democrat governor and a Republican legislature became tone deaf and decided differently. What arrogance!
Give us share of the Brewers:Taxpayers will pay for renovation of American Family Field.
And down the road what will we get for this generous outlay of taxpayer funds? I doubt it will be a World Series winner.
